FAQ and troubleshooting
Short answers to common questions, and fixes for common problems.
/app asks for a key first.Getting in
- I bookmarked the app at
/and now see a landing page. - The app moved to
/app. Use Open the app at the top of any page. Pages in the app have their own addresses, such as/app/forecastor/app/records/harvests, so they can be bookmarked. Links with?job=on/are sent to/appon their own. - How does a new organization get its first key?
- Request access with the form at Request access and keep the claim code it shows. Once DeepLeaf approves the request, paste the code on the status page and collect the first admin key, once. See Get your key and sign in.
- I lost my claim code.
- The claim code is shown once and never sent by email, so DeepLeaf can't send it again. Write to hello@deepleaf.io with the organization name you used.
- The key is refused.
- Check it was copied whole, starting with
dl_, and not revoked. DeepLeaf can check whether it is still active. - I lost a key.
- Keys can't be shown again. An admin revokes it on the Access keys page and creates a new one. If every admin key is lost, write to hello@deepleaf.io.
- Where did the API docs go?
- The interactive API reference is at
/api/docs./openapi.jsonis unchanged.
Walks and counts
- Most fruit show no ripeness.
- They are too small to read ripeness (under about 29 px across). Walk closer or record at 4K. The capture check says how many were left out.
- The count looks too high.
- Check for a "too close" warning. Close-range frames can give one large tomato several boxes. Step back to 0.5 to 1 m.
- Sizes are in pixels.
- No scale was found. Put the calibration board in the first scored frame, or type millimetres per pixel.
- Two walks of the same row give different counts.
- Check that both were filmed at the same height, distance, and pace, and compare their capture checks. Small changes in distance move how many fruit carry a ripeness.
- An upload gets 413.
- It is over the upload limit (1024 MB by default). Trim the clip or record at a lower bitrate.
- A job shows as failed after a restart.
- It was interrupted by a service restart. Score the file again.
Forecast and data
- The forecast is withheld.
- It needs kilograms per ripe fruit: log one harvest in a week with a walk, film with a scale, or type grams for red fruit.
- The forecast just repeats last week.
- That week has no finished walk, or repeating the harvest was closer on this cycle's earlier weeks. The "Based on" column and
chosensay which. - There is no range.
- A range needs two checked weeks at that horizon.
- A climate file is refused.
- Press Check the file first. Problems lists what blocks the import, such as a unit that could be °C or °F, a value out of range, or a compartment or date order to choose. Settle them, then check again. The file must be UTF-8.
- Readings are an hour off.
- Set the greenhouse time zone. Times without an offset are read as UTC when there is none.
- A delete says 409.
- The level still holds records. The response lists them. Send
cascade=true, or choose Delete everything in the app's confirmation, to delete them too. - No weather arrives.
- The greenhouse needs a latitude and longitude. Add them with Edit on the greenhouse, on the Setup page. If weather still doesn't arrive, contact DeepLeaf.
