What DeepLeaf Yield is
DeepLeaf Yield is a hosted service for tomato greenhouses. It scores a walk along a row from a phone video or photos, keeps a registry of your farms and crop cycles, and forecasts the harvest eight weeks out.
What a walk gives you
- Fruit by ripeness. Each fruit is marked green, turning, or red. Fruit too small to read ripeness (under about 29 px across) are counted but carry no ripeness.
- Plants. One plant for each stem line. A fruit belongs to the stem that reaches it from above.
- Sizes. Diameters in pixels, or in millimetres with calibers and a mass per fruit once a scale is known.
- Leaves, trusses, and flowers. Leaf pixels, plus truss and flower boxes. A truss box is only a detection; fruit are not grouped into it.
- A capture check. Resolution, sharpness, and fruit size, with a warning when the walk was filmed too far away, too close, or blurry.
What the registry and forecast add
Save the walk to a crop cycle and a week. Log harvests in kilograms, irrigation in litres, and climate readings. For every week that has a finished walk, DeepLeaf Yield forecasts kilograms for that week and the two after it. It also reports water productivity in kg/m³ and exports one CSV row per week.
What DeepLeaf Yield runs for you
DeepLeaf Yield hosts the detection models, stores your data, and fetches outdoor weather for each greenhouse location. You don't need a separate weather account or any paid third-party service. You need a phone camera and a web browser.
What it does not do
- It does not weigh fruit. Kilograms come from your harvest logs, from fruit measured against a scale, or from grams you type.
- It has not been validated on a full real season with walks yet. The measured numbers are on public datasets. See Accuracy and limits.
