Get your key and sign in
You sign in to DeepLeaf Yield with an organization key. A new organization requests access and collects its first admin key once with a claim code; your organization's admins create the rest in the app.
Get your organization key
If your organization already uses DeepLeaf Yield, ask one of its admins for a key. If it is new, request access first, as described below. Each key belongs to one organization and sees only that organization's data.
- The key starts with
dl_. It is shown to you once, so store it somewhere safe, such as a password manager. - Use one key per device or person, for example "Tablet" or "Office". Then one can be revoked without stopping the others.
Request access for a new organization
Open Request access. The sign-in page links to it under No key yet?, and so does every page of this site. Fill in the organization name, your name and email, the country, the approximate area, and the tomato type, then choose Send request.
- The page then shows your Claim code, once. Keep it safe: it is the only way to collect your key. It is never sent by email, and DeepLeaf Yield can't show it again.
- Use Copy code or Download as text, and keep the code private, like a password.
- The code works for 30 days after the request. DeepLeaf reviews every request by hand.
Check the status and collect your key
- Open the status page at
/app/request-access/status. From the form, choose Check its status. Paste your claim code and choose Check. - While the request is reviewed, the page says Waiting for review. If DeepLeaf declines it, the page says Request declined, with a message when there is one.
- Once DeepLeaf approves the request, the page says Your organization is ready and shows the organization id. Choose Show my admin key.
- The first admin key is shown once, on that page, and never again. Choose Copy key and store it in a password manager, then choose Sign in with this key.
After that, the claim code only tells you that the key was collected. With that admin key you create the other keys your organization needs. If the code has expired or the key is lost, write to hello@deepleaf.io.
Sign in to the app
/app/sign-in. The key field is a password field, so the key never shows on screen.Open the app and paste the key. The browser keeps you signed in for 30 days in a secure cookie, so the key never appears in page URLs. Sign out ends the session on that browser.
Keys in scripts
The same key works with the API. Send it as X-API-Key: dl_… or Authorization: Bearer dl_….
Lost or shared a key
Have an admin revoke it under Access keys in the app. It stops working on the next request, including in browsers already signed in with it. See Organization and keys.
